Stella Taylor

Born, Manchester 1961. Graduated from Falmouth College of Arts, 2002, BA (Hons) Fine Art. Started degree studies as a mature student after many years in senior administrative rolls both in the UK and abroad (The Foreign and Commonwealth Office).

Stella's current pieces involve items and scenes associated with staying, alone, in strange hotels where the 'ordinary' takes on a narrative theme and feel. Where human figures are conspicuous by their absence, yet we know they are near at hand, out of picture, soon to return.
