Characters by Ben Turner

Ben Turner has created a remarkable exhibition for us. On the one hand is the limited edition series of six mice taken from the 'Fridge Raider' DAIRYLEA commercials. Engineered by 'Passion pictures' London, and directed by 'Paul Berry'.

These six, framed, signed one only editions are offered for sale for the first time. Stunning 3D models of these plucky heroes have been exhibited in many places but never before has the artwork been available for purchase. Read more...

The 'Thing' (series of three), is taken from an animation idea concerning Martian frogs that have invaded and live in Wigan. The work entitled 'Rosebud' was actually used as the basis for the heroine in the movie of the same name.

'Starface' and 'Look out' show yet another side to Ben's artistic talent.

Ben's 'abstracts' are rather a misnomer in that every line, dot and colour is agonisingly worked out in advance and if something ends up in the slightest way out of place then, it is rejected, removed, replaced, redrawn, reworked.

And Ben's day job? He is Creative Director of a world-renowned animation studio. But he doesn't like to talk about it really!

Thanks for the great work Ben.
